3 SketchUp Build a Room

Now that you've learned the basic tools of SketchUp, it's time to move on and build some items yourself.

The first thing you will have to do is get a piece of graph paper, a ruler or measuring tape and sketch out your plans with the measurements.  I have rulers and will print graph paper.

What are you going to create a 3D model of?

You can measure your bedroom, bathroom or living room at home and build furniture. You can measure the classroom and some items, or maybe the front office and items.

It's your choice, but it needs to be approved by me before you begin building.

No... you may not use any furniture from the 3D warehouse. Once you build your room and furniture, you may use up to 5 items to decorate with (vase, flowers, candlestick - that type of decoration). Anything more will result in you not getting credit.

Save the SketchUp file to your desktop folder as #_lastname_name of room you are creating.

Then, using your tools in SketchUp, you will create THREE different views of your room and File > Export > as a 2D Graphic > JPG. Save as the same file name, but add 1, 2 & 3 to the end.

Turning it in...
