Wednesday

I’m sorry to be out again today, I’m with my dad in the hospital. I hope to be back tomorrow.

Blue Review: Samuel & Christian, continue filming Student Interviews. Gabriel & Elijah, film Words of Wisdom from Seniors to Underclassmen.

Digital Art & Animation: You will continue working through the Animate chain – 3D Motion, Animated Mask, etc.

AV Production: Today you will pick your groups to begin the Short Film. You may work by yourself, or have up to 4 people in a group. Regardless of the number, you will still be responsible for all of the planning that goes along with a short film.

You will turn in on a piece of paper today (typed or neatly written) that includes:

  • Full name(s) of people in your group
  • Short Film chosen – Need subject and the name of the group member that came up with the idea
  • Cast – name of each character in your short film and a brief description of the character
  • Setting – where will it be filmed primarily

Once you turn this in, you should return to working in Gmetrix

Tuesday

Blue Review: Work on editing what you’ve got footage for

AV Production: Gmetrix.net – you should finish through Domain 2.
If you didn’t turn in your Short Story Synopsis yesterday, you need to turn it in today or it will be a zero with no chance of making it up. Friday is the last day to take grades before Progress Report grades are due.
NO games, videos, or phones!

Digital Art & Animation: You are working in Animate. If you complete an assignment (including posting it on your ePortfolio), then move on to the next assignment on the list. Make sure your ePortfolio is up to date – Friday is the last day to take grades before Progress Report grades are due.

Today is your last chance to get your projects on the 5th Six Weeks Report Card. Put your phones away and get to work!

AV Production: Wrap up your Documentary Film & update your ePortfolio

Digital Art & Animation: Wrap up your Rotoscope and & update your ePortfolio

End of 5th Six Weeks

I’m out Wednesday & Thursday for eye surgery, but the end of the six weeks is still Thursday! So you need to work hard at wrapping up your projects. I’ll check email periodically, so let me know if you have questions.

Blue Review: Please make sure you are planning your segments so that you can start filming next week. No cameras available until Monday.

AV Production: You need to finish ALL parts of your Documentary Film, see the link for the requirements. You MUST have it exported, uploaded to YouTube & embedded on your ePortfolio by the time you leave on Thursday. Late work is not an option!

Digital Art & Animation: You need to wrap up your Rotoscope. Regardless of finishing, you need to post the assignment on your ePortfolio before class ends.

Hide (click the eyeball on the Timeline Layers) all layers except the 1 or 2 you drew on.
File > Export Video/Media – it should export to the folder that you have your original file in.
Upload your video to YouTube, public, and copy the link
Create your post in your ePortfolio following the directions in the Rotoscope Assignment. Answer ONLY questions 1 and 2 at this time.
