As you know, the LCISD Digital Media Fair is in full swing right now. We are in need of some posters to advertise.
While we don't have a theme for the contest, the district has been using "Be the One" as our theme for the year since August. You aren't required to use it though.
Use Illustrator to create a poster size 18 x 24 inches.
You can choose a color scheme, but make sure you select your colors wisely. It would be a good time to review color schemes and refer to Adobe Color to help.
You can choose your fonts, but try to keep it 2-4 fonts. Make sure the important information is in a font that is easy to read.
Artwork should be original.
Layout, layout, layout!!!
Here is the Entry Form where you can get dates, deadlines, etc. to put on the poster.
Save it as #_lastname_DMF_2019_Poster.ai and again as a JPG or PNG to put on Canvas.
P.S. This could qualify as an entry into the DMF - Commercial Design Category.
Turning it in
Please put the Illustrator file (properly named, of course) in the Campus Share Drive > Samuelson_Drop folder.
Then, you should have an Illustrator page in your ePortfolio by now. You'll add this post at the top of the page.
