Flat designs are big!
You use basic shapes that are edited to make some autumn designs.
You'll start with an 11 x 8.5 inch document size in Illustrator.
You do not have to use the exact same colors that the tutorial gives. However, they should look like autumn colors.
Follow these directions carefully. There is no video, so you'll need to read (and possibly re-read) the instructions.
Save your file as #_lastname_autumn_flat_designs.AI - make sure it's saved properly so you can find it later. You'll need this file for another assignment.
When you finish, you'll Export > Save for Web to save your image as a JPG or PNG. Uncheck "Clip to Artboard" so that all of the unused white space is eliminated from the exported file.
Turning it in...
You'll upload this image to the current six weeks page of your ePortfolio. Remember, newest posts are at the top. Include the following in this order:
- Title of the assignment (in a large size heading)
- Reflection Questions
- What colors did you choose and why?
- What new tool(s) did you use that you haven't used much before?
- Did you have difficulty with any of the pieces?
- Embed image
