9 Photoshop Photo Enhancement

What is Photo Enhancement

Photoshop is the premiere tool for photographers to touch up, enhance or manipulate their photographs. Very few professional photographers go straight from the camera to the finish line. Most of them have incorporated Photoshop and Lightroom into the the production.

Photo Correction/Enhancement Tools

You will use the photos from the Photo Corrections folder in the Campus Share Drive > HS_Lamar > Students > Samuelson >.  Each of them are named according to the video you will follow. Make sure you save them with the proper name into the Photoshop folder in your Schools folder.

On Your Own

Use the photos from your Scavenger Hunt to complete each of the above enhancements. If you don't feel like your photos are up to par, you can use my photos from Campus Share Drive > HS_Lamar > Students > Samuelson > Extra Scavenger Hunt Photos.

Each of these photos should be saved as Photoshop, then as JPG's as you see below.

Putting it together

Part 1: Make sure you have named/saved all of your JPG's correctly so that they fall in alphabetic order. That puts all of my photos first, followed by the On Your Own photos.

You'll create a new blank webpage in Adobe Spark to put these together, but instead of inserting a single photo, you'll insert a Photo Grid. Each time you insert a Photo Grid, you'll choose 2 photos - the original and the edited.  Please put the original photo on the left, edited photo on the right. Add captions below it that tell what tools you used to enhance it.

Turning it in

You are doing several different steps to add this to your Canvas ePortfolio's Photoshop page. You must WATCH THIS VIDEO to correctly add the HTML code (at the bottom), and new Content modules to it.

Remember that new posts are at the top of the page.
