InDesign Basics

In this lesson you'll learn how to insert text, images and tables into InDesign. You'll create 3 different files!

Create

• Insert Text
• Insert Images
  • Use Lamar Consolidated HS instead, you'll have to adjust font size to make it fit a similar space. Also, use Google Image Search to find a large image of LCHS to use.
• Creating Tables

Save each as:

1. #_Lastname_basic text
2. #_Lastname_insert images
3. #_Lastname_tables

Then, you'll need to File > Export as JPG images to post on your ePortfolio.

Turning it in...

Create a new page for InDesign in your ePortfolio. Remember the newest posts go at the top of the page.

1. Put the title of the challenge
2. Answer these questions
   1. What is dummy text?
   2. How do you insert an image?
   3. How do you insert a table?
3. Insert the 3 JPG image(s)
