If you are interested in creating something, talk to me about your idea. You can use class time to work on it and get a project grade for it.

Your time is valuable, don’t waste a second of it!

• Be at your computer and logged in when the bell rings

Also remember that when you use equipment, you need to put it back in the correct place. It makes it easier for me to do a spot check for it at the end of the class period.

I’ve received an email from the Canvas people. They are aware of the issue, and are currently working on fixing it.

You can still upload your files to the Canvas files area. However, you are still unable to embed an image into your ePortfolio. You should still be able to put your SWF files in since it involves code.

I’ll let you know when they notify me of it being resolved.

If you need to see your teacher today to discuss the plan for the Course Selection Movie Trailer, ask the sub for a pass and make sure the teacher signs it when you return. The script and storyboard should be completed today! I’ll have cameras out tomorrow for filming.

Computer Science

You are starting Intro to Programming today. Lesson 1 is The Need for Programming Languages. Watch the video in bubble 1, then get with a partner to complete the Activity Guide. Turn it in before you leave (finished or not). Answer the Check for Understanding questions at the end of the lesson.

Only the EVEN numbered computers will log in today.  Set up the pair programming with your partner.  Remember that you will take turns as the driver and navigator about every 5 minutes.  Work cooperatively!!!
