GDI2 will be taking the Adobe Certified Associate exam for Photoshop and Illustrator later this year. The rest of you will take corresponding exams next year in your level 2 class. I need for ALL OF YOU to register now so that you can take some test prep assignments.

You have 1 week to submit your entries to the LCISD Digital Media Festival. Entry forms are on the front table. It is a requirement for Graphic Design & Illustration and Audio/Video. It is recommended for PAAVTC. You will receive a project grade on your entry!

Please remember to tell me you’ve updated your Canvas ePortfolio with finished work. If you don’t tell me, I don’t know to grade it!

Last, this is a cell-phone and earphone free zone! Put them away when you walk in so that you can concentrate on completing your work!!!

Reminder that you must complete work by the end of class TOMORROW in order for me to have it graded and in Skyward by my deadline for Progress Reports!

Music Videos have been graded. If you want to know how you got the grade you did, pick up your rubric from the front table. Since it is a MAJOR grade, you are eligible to re-do or fix it to bring it up to passing. That will require you coming in for AM tutorials and/or lunch.

If you see a zero for an assignment that you have completed, please show it to me so that I can change it in Skyward.

• Fill out the form and submit it to me
• Turn in the correctly named file to the Samuelson_Drop > 2019_LCISD_DMF_Entries folder

You’ve got less than a month until entries are due for the LCISD Digital Media Fair. Due by the end of school on April 1, 2019!!!

• Graphic Design & Illustration and Audio/Video Production classes are required to submit a minimum of one entry.
• PAAVTC classes are encouraged to submit a minimum of one entry.

Once you tell me what you are working on, you will get class time that you can work on your entry. You can submit up to 2 entries in each category.
