Last Week of 1st Six Weeks

We are in the final stretch of the grading period. Report card grades are due at the end of the day this Friday. That means that YOU need to have everything turned in by Thursday so that I’m able to grade it by my deadline.

Tutorials are offered every morning except for Fridays. Please take advantage of them!

Wednesday, Sept 22

I’ll be back in class tomorrow. I have 1 more day of Computer Science Training to attend.

Graphic Design – you should be completing and emailing your Photoshop Tool file to me.

Audio/Video – continue the planning of your What If video

Computer Science 1 – your lesson for the day will be unlocked. Work through it and ask for help from your neighbor if you don’t understand something.

MUSTANG TIME – You’ll need to look for this course in Canvas! Read through, watch and when you finish – use the time to make sure you’re caught up in TechSmart.

Next week is the final week of the grading period – You need to make sure you stay on track, or get caught up.

Tuesday the 21st of September

Graphic Design & Illustration – You are working on Photoshop Tool Presentation. Go to your class page and it is on the Photoshop list. You will have today and tomorrow to work on it.

Audio/Video Production – You are working on the What If. You won’t do any filming or shooting until all of the pre-production work is completed and checked by me.

Computer Science 1 – You are working on on today’s lesson in TechSmart today. You need to make sure you are completing everything prior to today as well.

Friday, Sept 17

Hello Mustangs! I’m at GRHS today doing curriculum stuff, but I’d much rather be in class with y’all. Put your phones away and get to work.

Graphic Design 1 & 2 – The sub has 3 worksheets for you to complete to demonstrate your understanding of some of the Elements of Art. They have colored pencils for you to share. Please turn in your papers with your name on them by the end of class – Finished or not! You’ll be able to wrap up your Elements & Principles Photography assignment on Monday.

A/V Production 1 & 2 – Colby, no announcements for you today!

Look on the A/V page here for your first video assignment. It is called: What if…. Video Challenge.

You will have some short videos to watch and some activities to complete after each one. You will turn in your paper (handwritten or typed) showing what you’ve completed to the sub.

CS 1 – You will complete your Techsmart assignments for Friday, September 17th. You can ask each other for help, but remember help is different than doing it for them.

Remote Conferencing

Look on your Canvas Home Page for the following information…

Please notify your teacher when the need for Remote Conferencing is necessary. I will record any instruction and provide a link to it as the Remote Conferencing teacher may not know how to help you with your assignments in this class. When I know that someone is out due to Covid/Quarantine, I’ll record my lessons and post them here.
