So look…
The new cameras need a little more love and care than what you are currently showing them!!! Friday a camera was put up with no lens cap because someone else picked it up off the table thinking it was theirs. I found the extra cap in a different bag. When you use one of these cameras, please do the following to ensure that our equipment stays in tip-top shape.
- Check your bag for the lenses, body, caps/covers, battery and charger before you take it.
- If you are shooting in class, take the bag to your chair so that you know which bag is yours.
- When shooting, put the caps and covers in your bag so that you don’t misplace them or that someone else doesn’t pick yours up by mistake.
- If you are checking out the camera and don’t need one of the lenses – give it to me for safe keeping.
- Always put the caps and covers back on the body and lens, and wrap in the plastic when you’ve finished filming.
- Do not leave your camera or camera bag laying around, do not put someone else in charge of it.
- Check your bag to make sure everything is in there before turning it in.
